Genesis
The last couple of nights I have been reading Genesis, as in The Book of. Not sure I've ever made it through the whole thing. I'd certainly forgotten that there was an ancient people known as the Jebusites. There's plenty of interesting stuff in Genesis, along with the tedious begats and so on, which you have God's permission to skim. I googled "least favourite books of the Bible" and the consensus seems to be that Leviticus is a real drag. I will confess that my interest in the Bible is historical and literary, rather than religious. Or rather, I am interested in the religious aspects, but I am not a believer.
